Rachelle's Motto: Never Give Up, Never
Surrender!

It
is my goal to someday compete at the Paralympics as a member of the U.S. Paralympic Track Team. I have spent years training
and competing in both disability and able-bodied meets to achieve this goal. It has often been very difficult to be the
only athlete with a disability out of the hundreds competing at able-bodied events. But, I have had to conquer my fears to
gain the experience needed to someday become a world champion.
Over the years, my family has given me unwavering
financial and moral support. But the on-going cost of training and competing at the world-class level is very high. To make
the U.S. Team, I need on-going guidance from top-level coaches and trainers. I must also travel throughout the U.S. to participate
in elite-level disability events. As Paralympic funding is very limited, a Paralympic hopeful must cover all of their own
expenses up until the time they are named to the team. That is why, just like my able-bodied Olympic counterparts, I need
sponsorship and community support to achieve my goal of representing my country at the Paralympic Games
I live
by the motto: "Never Give Up, Never Surrender." It has served me well and will continue to guide my life. I believe
I have the ability to be a world champion. With your financial sponsorship and my determination, I am confident I can reach
this goal.
Thank you for helping me in my effort to represent my country in the future.
